Hey everybody, oh my god, tons to write about! I am having a super weekend, my girl Sana is spending the weekend with me!
We've been friends for 10 years, we met in Vancouver, where she's from, and we have kept in touch and visited eachother many times during those years. It's super having her here, she is a true friend and a woman who inspired me in so many ways and gave me so much confidence as a woman.
Hey, it's her fault I bought my first 'expensive' make-up, foundation by Giorgio Armani. 50 $!! I remember spending 50 $ on make-up at that time was like crazy and not-done. But guess what, she got me hooked! Yeah yeah, I know, I'm a snob sometimes, but hey, I deserve it! Chanel, Giorgio, Dior... can all be found in my bathroom and make-up purse :-)
Oh and she totally got me hooked on Facebook yesterday, so go find me on www.facebook.com and maybe I'll let you be my 'friend' ;-)

I love people who make me shine and happy.
Last night, I went out for beers with my friend Ben. Went to 'het Zwarte Huis' and had many beers at the bar, just talking, catching up, laughing. He is one of those rare people who has the same sense of humour as I do.
Some people, most people sometimes, don't get our silly jokes. I don't know what kind of humour you can call it, I just call it 'La Famiglia' humour. Long story...our 'gang' of friends used to be called La Famiglia. Iffa you fucka vith my friend, ve villa come and killa you! Hell, we were crazy enough at the time. Some of us still are :-)
And now, this incredible person I have met, now almost 4 months ago (what, time went by that quick!?), also shares this weird sense of humour. Whoa, what a bonus :-) His remark about chasing the thrash guys still has me laughing out loud, ok little inside humour here. I love it.
I love the capacity of people being able to make you laugh, just smile or smirk at a funny memory. People really can bring out the best in eachother. Just as they can bring out the worst. But, like said before, some people really can make you shine. I've been receiving so many compliments lately, it's amazing. Just because I'm happy, feeling good and someone is making me feel really beautiful. And it shows apparently! Yay :-)
Back to the nylons.... I was wearing black nylons last night. Not panties, but socks. Why am I sharing this with you? Well because Ben was wearing new shoes, without socks and he had walked to where we were and his feet hurt so bad. Red, blistered.... so being the true friend I am ... I offered him to wear my nylons. Hey, nothing wrong with getting in touch with your feminine side is there!? Gotta say, he looked hot with those black nylons on his hairy legs...haha. Sorry Ben, I told you'd I'd put this on my blog! It made us laugh, it was great, yet another fun memory.
I just love my friends. Guess that is what I am trying to say here.
By the way, speaking of Shine, my friend pointed out the new phone by LG, called Shine. Have you seen it? It's so sexy! Wow.
A lot happened the last few weeks. Life can change in a blink of an eye. I met someone who turned my world upside down in many ways. He made me open my eyes to the world around me and the situation I am in. This person made me evaluate my life, re-evaluate my values, re-discover what I stand for. This meeting made me stronger, more confident.
I'm a blessed person, I have a few very dear friends in my life. I love them. Can't tell them enough really.
All of you, you know who you are, thank you. I'd be a little vulnerable girl in a very big scary world without you.
